Dover brings in Rookie Goalie

A very key part to the success of the Port Dover Sailors has been their goaltending. The Sailors are bringing in a new netminder for the 2022/23 season

Hunter Welk has joined the Sailors coming from Kitchener U18 AAA. “He’s a big kid and has great net positioning as well as rebound control” said Coach Walker
Hunter brings a winning attitude to the team after just completing Back to Back Championships with the Kitchener Jr. Rangers.
How will Hunter help the Sailors this season?
“You can just tell he wants to compete and win all at the same time. It will help push some players this season” replied Walker
